Thank you for joining us for Key to Hope!

Plymouth Housing's mission is to eliminate homelessness and address its causes by preserving, developing and operating safe, quality, supportive housing and by providing adults experiencing homelessness with opportunities to stabilize and improve their lives. This impactful annual event is truly the key that enables Plymouth to continue opening doors for our neighbors who need warm homes in supportive communities.

Being Present, Reaching Out

How do you build trust?

When someone has lost faith in the people and systems around them, how do you rebuild that bridge? Our unhoused neighbors, particularly those experiencing long-term homelessness, have been let down by the social safety nets that are supposed to help them. 92% of Plymouth Housing residents live with a disability. 54% are seniors and 55% live with a behavioral health condition. Access to medical care is an important component of achieving housing stability, yet many have lost trust in the healthcare system.

Find out how Plymouth’s partnerships with medical care providers, such as Neighborcare Health, help residents live healthier lives.

Meet Kelly

Neighborcare Health

“Everyone struggles in their life at some point. Everyone needs a helping hand once in a while… look outside yourself and try to help each other.”

Kelly Trupp is a registered nurse who has worked at Neighborcare Health for 16 years. She worked at the Pike Market Clinic before transitioning to the Housing Health Outreach Team, a program that brings nurses into apartment buildings. For the last 12 years, Kelly has been working directly with Plymouth Housing residents to meet them where they are in their lives. Her welcoming demeanor and steady presence have consistently helped residents regain trust in the medical system and get the care they need.

Plymouth Housing operates seven buildings with health care services on-site. Residents who live in buildings without on-site care are welcome to visit the clinic at the Langdon & Anne Simons Senior Apartments.
