What can one person do?

In the face of huge societal problems, it can feel like there’s no way for any one person to make a difference. However, solutions begin with each of us. Just like offering one person a home changes their lives as well as the lives of those around them, your individual actions can have a ripple effect that leads to amazing positive change.

“I’m inspired by the staff and volunteers of Plymouth who make the mission come alive and dedicate their time and energy to supporting the community."

As a longtime volunteer and member of the Promoters of Plymouth and our Advisory Council, Mari has supported Plymouth Housing’s residents in a wide variety of ways, from serving community meals with her family to encouraging friends and colleagues to attend fundraising events.

Mari and the Promoters of Plymouth regularly volunteer their time to serve meals, such as when they served breakfast to the residents at the Pat Williams Apartments.
